My way or the highway?

So - going to work from 8-4 every day, can be a drag. But when the weather and wind conditions are fairly OK - AND I am able to convince myself that exercise is soooo good for me, I take my bike and give the car a rest... Let the other cars do the highway.. and choose this way instead.. Denmark is packed with yellow rapeseed fields these days..

pretty cool if you ask me

sign to "the romantic garden" - must choose that way some day... and bring pics of it :o)

I love trees - their shape in the horizon is beautiful.

lots of horses on my way - these are just a few of them.

This tree is pretty much the landmark of this tiny little town called Davinde . All the people here gather on regular basis to keep the shape of the tree all neat and sharp.
You see the speed limit - 40 km/h - so here I must slow down :o))

more yellow fields... with a small red house in the middle. Wonder if anyone lives there?

sometimes when I am going by car, I take this way home instead of the highway - even though it does take a few minutes more... who can blame me?

so, all there -bike parked - ready to go change from loose sports outfit to tight office outfit... ah well, whatever..
my "home" 8 hours a day... I have no idea who made this mess on my desk!

coming home I am greeted by this...
and this..

but we all know that all day long Bundy has been doing this:
... btw, his ouchies are still there, apparently concentrated on the right back leg... so in a few days we will have him x-rayed, and see if that can make us - and the vet - any wiser...
During the day he seems OK, as long as he doesn't romp around too much...yesterday we went for a quite long walk in the nearby forest, and he did quite OK, and wasn't completely poofed afterwards as he has been earlier..
So, we're optimistic and hope for the best that it is something that will pass and that he will be fit as a fiddle again soon!

training, ouchies

First a picture of the angry cat Mio training to be a flower... Mom thought he was so cute... something I completely fail to see.. then we were off to our weekly dog training session - with all kinds of other dogs. The session is for "grown up and well trained dogs". Mom laughed so hard when she saw that, and snorted " did you hear that Bundy - you are supposed to be grown up AND well trained!!" ah well whatever..

so, we sit and get instructions from the trainer, who, by the way , adores me... who can blame her?

look at me - I can be fast as a ninja! and all blurry too...

.. because my main goal throughout every period of free time during training is to get in contact with this one, a most irresistible border collie named Freya... Oh. My. Dog! But she runs sooo fast, and pretends she doesn't want anything to do with me!! But I know better.

still when she makes this move, climbing the ever so frightening agility uphill, ahead and downhill thing, I do get the feeling she teases me a bit... I would NEVER EVER get up on that narrow and terrifying thing! The people around us laugh and say she's a smart girl, something I really fail to understand at all!

... ah look at her... looking at me...

but, after chasing her, and also running around with the others, I get all exhausted... and just want to lay down... and I am pretty willing to do all the stuff and follow the commands my dad tells me..

But I am completely and utterly worn out. And it is more and more obvious that I hurt, in my back part. I limp, stagger about, drag one of my back legs, and my mom almost cries seeing me like that. It has been like that for several weeks now.

When we get home, I lay down and relax, a lot, for hours, but then, after 2-3 hours I am fit as a fiddle again .

But this is very worrying for my humans, and mom is so scared I go around with pain most of the time, but just doesn't show it, as my kind has a very high pain threshold.

So coming Monday I have an appointment with the vet, to be checked. So we'll see. Mom tries not to think of the worst..

you know, most things do get better with a kiss...

spring is over us

So, finally the temperature is rising - and we can start the Bon-fire barbecue season again - this years new thing is the bon-fire somewhat elevated from the ground. Neat - uh?! I am most helpful in assisting in cleaning the grid after use....
spring time also means season endings for the indoor sports - like gymnastic showdance. It's our little sis there in the middle, wearing white shirt...

I must guard the utmost delicious meat being barbecued. and I can't help looking overly handsome while doing so...

.. it's hard keeping my focus on the ( very slow) photo shooter - stuff is going on outside our yard, people walking by etc.

are we done already?

Iceland: What ? It's what you asked for isn't it ?

Britain: NO! Cash! Cash you dyslexic fuck. CASH not ASH!

morning of horror

I was sitting there, next to my man, having my morning yoghurt with cereal, reading the newspaper, a calm moment a normal working morning before rushing off to the office.
And then, through the corner of my eye, right next to my elbow, crawling swiftly on the windowstill, a HUGE, BLACK, HAIRY spider... I screamed and was at the other end of the kitchen within hundreth of seconds!! My man almost got a heartattack! ( from me screaming). Bundy came running to my rescue ! Then the spider had disappeared. The only thing worse than a HUGE, BLACK, HAIRY spider, is a HUGE BLACK HAIRY spider all of a sudden gone. Where did it go? And worse - when will it attack me again?! Bundy was all excited of this all of a sudden against normal morning action, my man still panting from the shock I'd given him - and THERE IT WAS AGAIN!! ON THE FLOOR! KILL IT! TAKE IT! HELP!
My man - now able to breathe again - took some paper, squelched the invader, and peace and calm re-emerged....
Pffff.
I prefer my spiders like this

home and away

A week ago I met up with my dearest BFF - Krakilette - for some glorious days, just the two of us. She took the ferry to the south, I took the train to the north, and it was such a treat.

The day of my departure - Bundy HATES when suitcases are brought into the kitchen... he knows something's cooking, and it's NOT a treat for him...

North of Denmark, at the Hirtshals harbour, poetic view.

At the beach on a winter day -the lady in red is indeed Krakilette...:o)

view from our appartment

artistic wall at the town centre

home again - Bundy all exhausted after greeting me very much welcome home... ( and noone has cleaned the floor while I was away for 3 days... why am I not surprised...)

see, we could fit shoes together.... almost...
