christmas happy puppy days
Our christmas eve is very typical Danish; we gather the family - this year 6 grownups( mom, dad, granddad, grandma, uncle and aunt) 2 kids, 1 puppy and 1 angry cat.. We eat roasted duck with potatoes, sweet potatoes, wonderful gravy, warm salad of red cabbage, and a rice dessert with warm cherry sauce. After this we gather hands around the tree and walk/run/dance around it while singing 3 carrols. This year this event was a bit hectic with the puppy constantly running the opposite way, trying to get a grab of the ladies skirts... Then we have coffee and all kinds of christmas sweets while we open all the presents that have been put down under the tree. At 11 pm it was all over, the guests were leaving and my eyes just didn't want to stay open any more... But in all a wonderful evening. Thank God it's a whole year until next time...
Our new status as dog owners is going quite well, the puppy Bundy is behaving very well and he is soooo sweet and funny. We struggle a bit with getting him to learn the rules of toilet stuff taking place outdoors, but I am sure we'll get there eventually...
The first week we were determined that his nights were to take place in the kitchen behind closed doors, and it was OK for some nights, but now, ah, well, to make a long story short: he now sleeps in our bedroom ( on the floor ! he WILL be a 60 kg bundle of joy in a short time..), and I must admit I do enjoy it. The sound of him is relaxing and him feeling safe and content is soothing... My husband claims Bundy and I both snore pretty much, but we don't believe him...

first time
My first time ever
The sky was dark, the moon was high;
All alone just her and I,
Her hair was so soft, her eyes were so blue
I knew just what she wanted to do
Her skin so soft, her legs so fine
I ran my fingers down her spine
I didn’t know how but I tried my best
I started by placing my hands on her breast
I remember my fear, my fast beating heart,
But slowly she spread her legs apart
And when I did it I felt such shame
All at once the white stuff came
At last it’s all finished, it’s all over now,
My first time ever at milking a cow..

carpe diem
Weekends are the best.
I slept until I couldn't sleep anymore this morning, had a slow breakfast while reading the paper - husband took off to work ( he is very busy, always... his new business is finally paying off and he just can't slow down...), kids were sleeping in. Went ahead with some chores and got some tidying and cleaning done. Great. Cuddled up with my 10 year old and watched Rock Camp on disney channel. The 16 year old finally got up, and was in a wonderful mood. And that must be enjoyed - at that age the mood is really swinging up and down.. quite challenging at times....
Then a long time no see friend popped by for a cup of coffee - I just love it when that happens!! Later at the store I met other people I know and chatted a bit. Isn't it great when you are so lucky to know people that don't mind taking the time to tell you a bit of life and stuff? I love it. One of the persons I met is the lady who looked after my youngest when she was a baby while I was at work. This wonderful lady is now very ill with cancer, but still we could both laugh and talk about this and that. Reminding me that it is important to seize the day - carpe diem - and be greatful for what you got on every average day.
Tonight we are invited over to some friends living not far from us - we will have some red wine and cheese, and laugh and talk. It warms me inside just thinking about it.
Well, gotta go - off to pick up my daughter, she is at the stables with her beloved horses... The husband is now home - he is just taking a snoring nap...The 16 year old son is out visiting an old school friend- she is a lesbian by the way....
Hm - life has so many colours... and I love it.
