Long time, no sea...

Garfield said that - one of my heros...Anyhow, haven't been posting for a long time. No excuse for that... Winter has hit Denmark, and snow is pouring... Bundy loves it... He is definitely not a " stay indoors when it's cold and only go outside with fluffy and warm dog outfits" kind a guy...

We - my daughter and I - went to the far north of Norway for the baptising of my brothers twins. My daughter wearing the Norwegian traditional dress - mine actually.. got it when I was 15.. Looking gorgeous... as does my brothers soon to be wife...

Then Bundy had his surgery in his knee... he's doing very well now, all recovered and bouncy.

Then Christmas, and new year. Then my daughters 14 years birthday..

Today it's Saturday. Hubs and daughter are out shopping. Son and girlfriend still sleeping after partying all night... Bundy poofed out on the floor, snoring, after romping around in the snow with a couple of apples... Me... ? Radio is entertaining, checking the internet, sipping coffee, planning to bake a cake...

We've been up in the far north - Lofoten - and my favourite nephews Max and Henrik were baptised. We celebrated and enjoyed several days together. Loved it. Miss them. Will see them again in the summer of 2012... Then they will be almost 1 year old.

For my fellow dog -bloggers:
Bundy is currently recovering from surgery in his right back knee.
Cruciate knee ligament is the word for it... Major surgery, major vet bill... Many people have opinions like " you could have bought many new puppies for that kind of money" Well, the thing is no new puppy could replace our very much beloved and wonderful Bundy, and this procedure will hopefully do the trick and we will be able to keep him with us for many years ahead.. The recovery period is somewhat long - it is now 4 weeks since the surgery, and we only do short walks and only on leash... The first couple of weeks he didn't mind - worn out as he was - but now he's recovering just fine, and gets a bit bored and seems anxious to get out there and do zoomies, playing and running... I try to do mental training with him, and it works fine. But still we all look forward to do those long walks and see him goof around in the back yard.

I will soon post some pictures of him with his shaved leg an all :o)

The most adorable twins I have ever seen - my brother and his beautiful fiancé have done an excellent job I must say!

Nothing wrong with the genes - no doubt about that!

I will meet them IRL in a weeks time - can't wait!

This is one tough kitten... amazing..

We went to Malta

.. and all we got was this..

We had a wonderful holiday - sun, beach, water, city strolls, boat trip, dolphin show, restaurants, cafés, relaxing, playing cards, laughing and talking a lot.

The Maltese people are very friendly and this small island is very beautiful - we hope to go there again sometime.
Now back in the cold and windy Denmark, enjoying the autumn and the gorgeous autumn colours

Staying inside, lighting the fire and some candles, drinking warm chocolate and looking forward to christmas...

For the record: Bundy was ecstatic when we got home after a week of absence.. and we had most certainly longed for him too...
