I just smiled all the way... adorable...

This is one tough kitten... amazing..

We went to Malta

.. and all we got was this..

well, and some...

We had a wonderful holiday - sun, beach, water, city strolls, boat trip, dolphin show, restaurants, cafés, relaxing, playing cards, laughing and talking a lot.

The Maltese people are very friendly and this small island is very beautiful - we hope to go there again sometime.
Now back in the cold and windy Denmark, enjoying the autumn and the gorgeous autumn colours

Staying inside, lighting the fire and some candles, drinking warm chocolate and looking forward to christmas...

For the record: Bundy was ecstatic when we got home after a week of absence.. and we had most certainly longed for him too...

The family is going on holiday - away from the cold autumn in Denmark, to sun and warm relaxation on the island of Malta in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea...

We love it!

And we're worth it!!

He is so loving, calm, mild tempered, smart, funny and fantastic. Our kind of dog exactly..

pampering

I am going off to a SPA with 9 of my female colleagues this afternoon.. We'll be getting treatments like massage, foot therapy, facial treatments etc.

Afterwards we are going to a hotel nearby, having a gourmet dinner with all included, staying the night in single rooms ( most of us have families with kids, and for us it is A MAJOR EVENT to have a room and a night all to ourselves!)

It will be such a treat, and I can't wait!!

Let me present: my 2 brand new - most adorable ever - nephews, 1 month old. Two perfect little twin boys, amazing!

They are so overwhelmingly cute and gorgeous - and I can't wait to meet them in real life. So far I have to settle for the pictures - as they live 2000 km away...

I am so fortunate to be married to a chef - with a lot of passion for good cooking. When I met him - 23 years ago - he worked as a chef in a Norwegian hotel. We hooked up ( ah bless..) and I have accompanied him from jobs as chef, sous chef, head chef, teacher for young chefs, and finally now, since 2005, he has his own business - Bonfire - selling mainly The mobile bonfire kitchen, which basically is complete equipment for cooking over open fire.

Anyhow - last weekend The 2011 Danish Championship in BBQ took place - The Bonfire team ( hubbie and two of his pals) participated. And won!! 1. price on Seafood, 1. price on Lamb ! There were 5 categories - and 21 participating teams. That particular day it was pouring - so they struggled a bit keeping the open fire lit... Overall they landed on 3rd place. It was so great - and I am so proud of him!
